On 27 August 2026, the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (the Authority) decided to cancel the registration of Mr Muhammad Nasir Nawaz (MARN 1807450) for a period of five years following an investigation into the Agent’s conduct.

The Agent must not be registered for a period of five years from the date of the decision.

The Authority was satisfied that the Agent breached his obligations under clauses 2.10, 8.1. 8.2 and 8.3 of the former Code; and sections 15, 20, 23, 24. 25(3), 26(1)(b), 33, 39 and 41 of the Code.

The Authority found that the Agent:

• Provided false and misleading information to the Authority.
• Failed to act competently, diligently and in the legitimate interests of his clients; and have proper regard for their dependence on his knowledge and experience.
• Failed to properly supervise his staff and facilitated the provision of unlawful immigration assistance under his MARN.
• Failed to keep his clients updated about the progress of their immigration matters.
• Allowed a fraudulently altered Commonwealth document to be provided to his client.
• Engaged in false or misleading advertising on the internet regarding his migration business and employees.

The Authority was also satisfied that the Agent was not a person of integrity, or otherwise not a fit and proper person to give immigration assistance.
