Clause 7.1 of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct (the Code) requires a registered migration agent (RMA) to keep separate accounts with a financial institution for:

  • the agent’s operating expenses (operating account)
  • money paid by clients to the agent for fees and disbursements (clients’ account).

The OMARA website contains information about the rules for handling money you receive from a client. The information can be found under Tools for Registered Agents.
