If you wish to cease being a registered migration agent before your registration expiry date, you will need to confirm in writing that you have met each of the following:
1. You have complied with all requirements listed in the Code under Termination of Services – clause 10.1
2. All current clients and the Department (using the form 956) have been notified that you have ceased to act on their behalf
3. You have updated files and returned all relevant documents
4. You have settled any remaining financial matters and refunded any money paid in advance for services not rendered.
When you have met all the above requirements, please contact the Authority via the online enquiry form on this website. In your enquiry, you will need to provide:
- your MARN
- your date of birth
- the email address you use to communicate with the Authority
- the date you wish your registration to cease.
